How Deep Is Your Love… for this unmatched experience?

The discerning world traveller has flown countless flights and trekked across the earth’s vast lands from Moscow to New Zealand and everything in between. Few have travelled 1000 meters below the sea’s surface. A unique opportunity awaits visitors to the Maltese Islands aboard the U Boat Navigator and within its Triton 3300/3 submersible. Many visit the Maltese Islands for its remarkable history dating back some 7000 years with some electing to dive its clear waters. Discovering the sea is often equated to being skilled in the art of exploration; the Triton 3300/3 affords anyone with the interest and means to go where most cannot. The seabed of the Maltese Islands has much to explore including various WWII wrecks and striking beauty.

The U Boat Navigator can be enjoyed as a standalone explorer charter or as a support to another superyacht.

The Story Behind the UBoat Navigator

Before there was the U Boat Navigator, its team had operated a successful diving school in Malta. Then in 2012 they began to look at other opportunities to further their interest in underwater exploration which included historical wrecks, research and underwater filming, thus acquiring its own research vessel equipped with a deep sea submarine. They were instrumental in producing various short films which later evolved into full features such as the Mystery of Britannic, The Perseus Survivor and Aegusa: The Floating Palace. The first submarine was a U Boat Worx which could dive to 300m but there were numerous research and filming projects that involved greater depths and today the vessel carries two Triton submarines: one that is manned exclusively by a pilot and the other allowing for two passengers. The maximum depth of these submersibles is 1000 meters in perfect comfort and safety. To put this depth into perspective, 1000 meters equates to the soon to be finished Jeddah Tower in Saudi Arabia. Until 2020 U Boat Navigator has only been used for scientific expeditions and underwater cinematography, this year the company decided to share their passion with the world and offer some very unique experiences to those passionate about the Ocean and unforgettable experiences in life.
